San Diego, CA (October 2010) - Pink is hot this October, and local recycling and refuse company Daily Disposal, is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month by distributing pink “donation dumpsters” around town, while donating 50% of profits to the National Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.
“Daily has been family-owed and operated since 1995,” said co-owner Todd Ottonello, “This campaign is about visibility and donation, and we are helping remind people that fighting breast cancer requires awareness and involvement -- and we are proud to help raise funds for breast cancer organizations.”
Given the startling statistic that one in eight women will be diagnosed with the disease in her lifetime, local participation and awareness campaigns make a difference in the quality & quantity of life for all women in San Diego affected by breast cancer.
